HELP PUT A COOK IN THE DAY SPACE KITCHEN

The Day Space is a ministry of Journey Church providing a safe, welcoming place for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Northwest Calgary.

Located directly across from the Tuscany CTrain Station, The Day Space offers meals, rest, hygiene facilities, healthcare access, housing support, treatment referrals, financial coaching and employment connections.

Now, The Day Space has an important new goal:

RAISE $60,000 BY APRIL 2027

These funds will support the salary of a dedicated cook who can prepare consistent, nourishing meals for Day Space participants.

A dedicated cook would provide more than food. This role would bring consistency to the kitchen, strengthen the daily care offered to participants and allow volunteers and staff to focus more of their attention on hospitality, connection, and long-term support.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Fundraise
Invite your church, workplace, small group or community organization to help raise part of the $60,000 goal.

Businesses may be able to sponsor the campaign, donate food and supplies or offer other practical support.
